Winnington Omiss was purchased privately in 2005 from Neil Vance of the Winnington herd. Omiss is a well muscled cow, but also has the feminine characteristics of a limousin female. She is the oldest cow in the herd, her sire being a Rake Terence son, Guards Jackpot, and her dam, Winnington Lupine is by Brereton Hardy. Her progeny include Nebo Bunny, who was reserve female champion at the Royal Welsh Show in 2008. Also Nebo Emma, who was sold for 3800gns in December 2010 in the Red Ladies sale at Carlisle. | |
